Three more beautiful edge to edge quilts to feature!

The first quilt to feature today was made by Sarah, a very talented quilter that works under the umbrella of "every little detail does matter".  I don't have a photo of the back, perhaps later, but it's pieced and was carefully centered by Johnny.  Looks super sharp.  Sarah chose a beautiful floral design that totally compliments the quilt top.  Enjoy!

The second featured quilt today is from Joyce.  When it comes to choosing colors, Joyce is tops.  When I'm ready to begin my next project, I'm taking Joyce shopping with me! Another beautiful floral quilting pattern was just perfect for Joyce's quilt that she calls "Happy Daze".  Happy indeed.

And last (but by no means least), is an adorable kitty cat quilt made by Linda.  It has a black fur backing (yes really) that my cats would L-O-V-E.  That is, if they ever got the chance. Which they won't.

Three Beautiful Edge to Edge Quilting Patterns

I've said it before and I'll say it again.  As much as we love custom quilting, we also love Edge to Edge quilting.  You see, the Statler way of doing edge to edge and the old way of doing edge to edge are worlds apart.  By the "old" way, I mean a paper pantograph is spread out at the back of the quilt frame, and the long arm quilter follows the lines with a laser attached to their machine.  Very tedious.  Can make a person cranky.  And how many of these pieces of rolled up paper can one reasonably store anyway?  We have hundreds upon hundreds of edge to edge designs to go with your quilt.  Combine one of those with the correct shade and type of thread and now you've hit a home run.  Enjoy these three quilts.

The first one is a quilt from Julia called Super Symmetry.  It's a gorgeous quilt in all batiks.

The second quilt I am featuring today is from Sharon, who owns the Cotton Patch quilt shop in Jacksonville, NC.

The quilt design is a beautiful petunia pattern.

And lastly, we have a quilt from Cindy.  It's a spool quilt that she requested we apply a fairly dense design

The quilt design is a beautiful leaves and roses pattern.

Jean's Lemoyne Star is Finished!

I feel like a heel.  I have no excuse for not posting pictures of all the beautiful quilts that we've been busy working on here at Three Bears World Headquarters.  (I've stolen that from my friends that own www.towndock.net).  We have the pictures.  I just need to post them.  My right hand is up in the air and I vow to catch up and don't do it again.
It's time to knock off the cobwebs and get down on it.
Jean will be teaching this beautiful wall hanging as a class at Thimble Pleasures in Chapel Hill.  It was custom quilted with a butter creme yellow thread from Superiors new Omni Line.  Enjoy!  Oh, and go sign up for the class.

Natalie's Giant Feathered Dahlia is finished!

This was a new quilt for me.  I've worked on Giant Dahlia's before, but this was the first Giant Feathered Dahlia we've had.  Natalie does such perfect work, and this pattern just had to be difficult to piece.  We could not be more pleased with the final outcome.
