The correct thread type, weight and shade are essential when machine quilting a piece such as this beautiful Redwork. It needs to simply "melt" into the handwork, as not to interfere. I believe we got this one right!
The entire quilt was crosshatched. For visual interest, a variety of different sizes and angles were used
