It's a Denver Log Cabin!

This Denver Log Cabin was pieced by Jan for her son.  It's a twist on a classic, but I love it that Jan kept the center square the traditional red.  The backing was a mint green flannel, and the batting was Hobbs Tuscany Wool.  I know what you're thinking.  That you need a crane to lift it.  Nope! Not at all.  The wool is so light, but offers super insulating qualities that keep you warm in winter and cool in summer.  Perhaps we might check into getting a tax credit for said wool.  Mitt? Obama? Anyone?  Perhaps we can debate the issue.  Anyway, enjoy the quilt pictures and just know - customers like Jan are the reason I have the best job in the whole world.
