Antique Log Cabin is Finished!!

This is a hand pieced Log cabin Quilt top,  circa 1900's  that I purchased at an estate sale.  It's condition was excellent, and it was a good candidate to be quilted on a long arm machine.  (Not all antique quilt tops are).  It is a gift for my sister Linny.  I think it would make a stunning wall hanging, so we added a hanging sleeve for her.

The quilt came with an orphan block.  My friend Lynn, the best applique quilter on the planet, bound the quilt for me.  She incorporated the orphan block into the label.  Very clever.
