Lisa's XXX Irish Chain is Finished!

This quilt is WOWSA WOWSA WOWSA!!!
It's a different approach to an Irish Chain, at least for me, using a print for the background.  But it's really lovely, don't you think?  Down side might be that you can't see a heck of a lot of quilting in that print----unless of course you flip the quilt over.  Then, it's a beautiful whole cloth quilt!
An offset Diamond was stitched inside each block.  I don't know how many there were.  I don't want to know :-)
For contrast, the print border's were crosshatched.  The skinny pink border and the 1" red border were SID.
This type of custom quilting is soooo much easier if Lisa is the one who does the piecing!  She works at Thimble Pleasures in Chapel Hill, and is a true artist.  Here's two more of the back:
